Tickets now onsale for May 2015 charity concert

Thanks to all those who made it to our concerts in St. Leonards and Ramsgate! We had a wonderful time and hope all our audience members enjoyed listening as much as we enjoyed singing.

We are now planning our upcoming concerts, and we are looking forward to once again joining forces with the Marcel Sinfonia and performing a concert at St Paul’s, Covent Garden, London, on 16th May 2015 at 7.30pm in aid of Rescue4children (registered charity 07789662). Rescue4children provides humanitarian aid for families displaced by conflict in countries such as Syria, Iraq and Kurdistan. Educational work includes music therapy and art therapy, helping individuals recover from acute emotional trauma.

The programme is a mix of orchestral and choral music, conducted by Andrew Campling and Christian Spielmann, and will include:

Arrival of the Queen of Sheba – G.F. Handel

Concerto in D minor for Two Violins – J.S. Bach

Concerto for Flute – Andrew Campling

Adagio – Samuel Barber

and choral music by Pergolesi, Lauridsen and Hawley

Tickets are available from and on the door – and if you are attending why not also let us know on Facebook!

In the meantime add to your diaries 4th July for our Summer concert, which will be held in St. Mark’s, Regents Park. Watch this space for more information coming soon!
