Our next concert “Festival of Britten” is Saturday 19th October 2013 at 7.30pm at St Dunstan and All Saints Church, Stepney High St, E1 0NR.

We will be singing Britten’s Hymn to the Virgin, Missa Brevis and Hymn to St. Cecilia as well as pieces by Campling, Mundy, Lotti and Anon.

St Leonard’s 2013

Thanks to all who came along on Saturday to our concert which was a great success. We definitely hope to perform the Missa Rigensis by Uģis Prauliņš again sometime soon…

Thames Chamber Choir News

  • We are happy to announce we will be joining forces with the London School of Economics Choir and the Marcel Sinfonia to sing Handel’s Messiah on Saturday 8th December 2012 at 7.30pm at St Augustine’s Church, One Tree Hill, Honor Oak, London SE23 3LE. All concert proceeds in aid of the restoration of the church tower, an appeal supported by English Heritage.
  • We are also looking forward to singing the carol service at our regular rehearsal and performance venue St. Dunstan’s Church, Stepney, on 22 December at 6.30pm – all of course welcome to attend.
  • Rehearsals will soon begin for our SPRING CONCERT which will be 9 March 2013 at St John the Evangelist Church, Upper St Leonards.

Berliner Messe

Thanks to all who came along to the concert on Sat 13th Oct – it was a great success and tickets sold out! We’ve had some fantastic feedback and extend our thanks to conductors Andrew Campling and Christian Spielmann, to the Marcel Sinfonia, and to the fabulous dancers of Victor Fung Dance for all their hard work and beautiful dancing.

Next concert SATURDAY 13TH OCTOBER

After our successful summer concert in July, rehearsals are now beginning for our next concert, which will be at 7.30pm on Saturday 13th October at St Dunstan and All Saints Church, Stepney, E1 0NR. TCC are greatly looking forward to being joined not only by orchestra but dancers too, in what will prove to be a unique and exciting project.
